When I came across this color on the Paper Source Colorscope Chart, I was loving it that the color described one of our long time Stager Girls. If the shoe fits!

A Sweet Girl's room

One of our fellow Seattle Stagers had a huge warehouse sale so we took our truck there, filled it up and voila! new inspiration.   Loving how this girls room turned out. Our Jodi did a great job photographing the space. 

We just had to share.

Often we are racing through our day doing our staging thing without any sort of pause. It was not until I saw these photos on the MLS that I realized we never stopped to take it all in. When the builder phoned with compliments I went back to see the job and felt like I should share it.

Stager Girls on a Mission

Some of us Stager Girls are piling into a couple of cars and heading out to our 1st of many road trips. Hope to report back on all of our fabulous finds and photos. It's Called Curb Appeal

The first thing that tells us about a home is the front of the house. When Sister Ex and I approach a property for a meeting with the seller, you can bet we are critiquing the walkway, garden, front porch, door and the side yard. It all comes into play when selling/marketing your home. If it looks well cared for on the outside then it is probably well cared for on the inside. 

If you want to get the best possible price with the least amount of time on the market then put your very best foot forward. Start with cleaning, repairing, possibly re-carpeting, landscaping, and staging. Even in a booming real estate market it is critical to have your property in top shape.

Day in the Life of a Stager Girl

With a booked schedule, we had to find a creative way to stage.  With the help of our movers, these Stager Girls, had to move the staging from a house that went pending to the house across the street. Piece by piece, pillow by pillow. The object was to make it not seem like we moved it so we switched up the art and made some furniture changes. It worked!

Week in Review

Today is Friday and Sister Ex & I are enforcing a 1/2 day. 1 staging demerit to any Stager Girl who works beyond noon. That is a huge challenge because we get so close to finishing a job and we cannot leave it. We were all spinning on the rat wheel this week. Overworked and exhausted...

Can't stop thinking about Outdoor Spaces

It's still too cold to plant our pots with annuals but it is definitely time to clean off the deck or patio, wash the outdoor furniture and get ready for sunshine, fresh air and entertaining.

An Airstream Trailer emergency briefly took us to the Lowes in Moses lake, Washington. Our trailer problem faded away the minute I saw the outdoor collection at Lowes. It's much less picked over than ours in Seattle which motivated me to go online and see more.

Staging Edmonds

We all just loved this home. The Great Room layout is incredibly desirable and speaks to how most of us live these days. A fun project to stage as well.

Been working like crazy Stager Girls in this wild real estate market. Here is a look at what we did last week:

Create a look that says "Welcome!"

Whether you are selling your home or simply want a welcoming entry a simple planter filled with beauty is a must. It seems overwhelming when you get to the nursery so only focus on the need for 3 items in your planter. Simply click on each image and your planter is created!

1. Start with a large stylish planter

2. Fill with planting mix and slow release fertilizer

3. Remove the plant identity tags

4. Add 2 vibrant grasses

5. Add a shrub prized for its colorful foliage 

6. Finally your color spot. Stay with 1 color for greater impact

I love this combination because it is low maintenance and provides interest for months. Now get out there and tackle this rewarding task.
