Day in the life...of a stager girl

We love our "creeper van". We need to get our logo on in order to not appear so creeper-ish.
 It comes in handy when our Movers forget to bring the correct items and we have to load it in ourselves. See, it is not always glamorous.


 Once on the job, we realized that we all dressed in black and white. Even, M, who is taking the picture was in a black and white sun dress. Always good for a laugh.

Thought I'd change it up a bit with some "before" and "after" photos. This is a wonderful home that appears to be tucked into the woods on a sleepy street. A bit of staging and it shines even more.

Winthrop Love

On our glamping trip we stopped in Downtown Winthrop. Super cute town, easy to shop and lots to see.

 And a cute boy serving them up...Couldn't tear the girls away.



 My kids were unimpressed with this vintage gas pump. I am all too familiar with this style as I remember how many times as a teen filling up from all of our "cruisin'".
 I shall now begin to call all toilets and bathrooms the "washroom". I will start on Monday when we are loading up a truck. I will tell Sister Ex while she is selecting linens that the "washroom" is painted grey. That'll give her a chuckle.

 This city girl is utterly shocked when she sees undeveloped lake front. How refreshing.
 Oh, if life could be this simple. A straw broom (not a swifter) and a tin can (not a plastic, rolly hinged thingy).

Here are the results of 4 days of staging, 51 throw pillows, 3 aching backs, 3 stair cases, and a bum knee:





















The home was not entirely finished so I did not get photos of the kitchen which is breathtaking. It may be worthy to circle back with some exterior photos as well. In the meantime, we are taking Friday off and relaxing. What a week!
