Help is on the way

I am worn out from playing this work game alone. All too ready for Sister Extraordinare to come to the rescue. It's just more fun with her around helping with the decisions and sharing the responsibilities. It was not fun being so busy without her, no fun handling clients and agents alone, no fun handling the fire in our building, no fun handling insurance paperwork, staging, unloading, billing, collecting, going to the court house, serving papers (another new experience for me), and on and on...

Welcome back. Here are the reins-I will hold on for the ride.

Rat on a Wheel

Not easy figuring out all the things that must be handled when one is dealing with a smoke filled warehouse due to a fire. Been learning and sorting things out daily.

Click the arrow to see a 5 second video of me working. Really-you must...

Yikes, even the wheel has tipped over. Can anything go right? No time to troubleshoot my video or photo-you get the idea...

Fire!

Not this.....

This....
To our dismay we found out our building partially burned due to a fire. I saw it on the news, phoned Sister Ex in LA who phoned our landlord. An ugly chain reaction.

Here is a truck load of our furniture we tried to salvage.

As soon as this nightmare is over we will be able to pen another chapter in our "Staging Adventures" book. Chapter 28 will be "how to handle the details after a fire has threatened your livelihood." It will follow the chapter on "Emotionally Paralyzed Homeowner leaves job to Stagers."  We have discussed a reality TV show so why not a book...
