Belltown Staging

Staging downtown is always a challenge. I forgot to snap a photo of my guys carrying a mattress down the streets of Seattle. This condo was quick and easy and I think it turned out pretty cute. The seller would not let us hang any pictures if it appears that something is missing. There is also a coffee shop next to the building-just the way we like it!

Capital Hill Condo

We overdid it this week. Sister Ex and I staged way too much and are exhausted... My photos even look a bit rushed with an obvious lack of styling. The jobs were fun and challenging. Parking and unloading trucks in Belltown & Capital Hill can be very tricky. Elevators and stairs are another staging challenge.

This particular building on Capital Hill is lovely-right from the entrance to the front door.

The entrance gives a first impression of a boutique hotel.

The light fixtures were a 10! Just perfect for this vintage building.

We continue to be eternally grateful for all of the business that has come our way.

Airstream Love

I realized, last week, that a vacation is a very necessary thing. All the tension melted. This kind of camping shaves off the extras and scales it down to a simple way of life. We had few cares.
I actually took some time to lay on the ground and check out the sky. Can't remember the last time I did that but it felt good and it meant something.

A vacation is a necessary thing indeed.

Portland

I kept refering to this as the International District but that is not what this neighborhood is called in Portland.
We walked through it on a Tuesday morning and it was beautiful but completely dead. I was expecting it to be something like Seattle's International District which comes alive very early morning with the outdoor markets setting up their fruits and vegetables. We used to ride our Vespa's around early moning and witness the city waking up. Very fun.

Airstream Focus

Back from our brief road trip. Now we are picking up our Airstream, bringing it to the city, and getting it all dialed in for another trip.

Stopped at Fabric Depot in Portland for inspiration. The top is for throw pillows on my newly upolstered Airstream couch and the other is for the curtains. I had two looks here but I think I managed to marry them by using the fabric below.
