Flower & Garden Show

The Northwest Flower and Garden Show is just around the corner.  This is an event and shopping experience not to be missed. February 23 - 27th.

I do not know the official theme behind the show this year but it sounds like the gardens will take inspiration from children's books. Last year water was a reoccurring theme.

I usually choose my Dalia's from Dan's Dahlias and my espalier fruit trees and shrubs from Rain Tree Nursery. You will get them bare root which is ideal for transporting.

Today's Fab Finds

Look at the pieces we purchased today. The prices were far too good to be true.

We purchased 6 pieces similar to the one above. 2 Round, 2 rectangles and 2 octagons. Our plan is to paint some of them and use a couple as a kind of headboard in staging. $20.00 each!
Sister Ex found these jewels that will not be going into our warehouse but will be hung in her studio. The price is embarrassingly cheap so I will not share it.
Aidan Grey Chair (I believe) and pillow. Another great find.
Here are a few more available pieces.
Loved this canvas and really wanted it but I can't keep bring things into my home unless I have a place for them.

Staging

Sometimes we struggle on jobs and get annoyed that we don't bring the right furniture but this project came together quickly and we finished it in 4 hours.

The homeowner will be getting a fresh load of wood to cute-ify the fireplace.
A pretty round table and our sweet upholstered chairs created an intimate dining room.
The window came from a 70's remodel.

I take photos mostly for insurance purposes so I miss some needed photo styling. Sorry.
The vintage window was replaced with this big ol' eye sore of a window. The light increased but the vision is not good. This is a little sitting room off the master. Everyone could use a room like this. We would have put up some sheers but the homeowner wanted to do that.
The mud room looks more welcoming than a broom in the corner.

This listing is by Jason Viydo of Windermere Real Estate.

Seattle Design Center

Found some wonderful inspiration at the Sample Sale. Didn't purchase what we thought we were going to but it was good energy.
One of our favoite showrooms is Schumacher Fabrics.

And on to my all time favorite....Nancy Corzine. I have been pining for this $8000.00 sofa. Her welting is over the top.

I adore this fabric called Velvet Roses. So dreamy...

My Home

Here are a few vignettes around my home. (Photographed with my cheap camera)

My new alabaster lamp from Sister Ex. with a recycled glass sculpture from my best friend. Sister wants me to get a larger shade...
Cute boxes that Sister Ex found, pretty feathers from Grace Home and a mirror purchased at an auction sans glass and white paint. (Which is to say it was really ugly when I got it)
Wishing for affordable crystal sconces and something to go into that large glass jar. Any white ideas?
My deer was originally purchased for the holiday but my girls did not want it put away. Is it too Christmas-y or can I keep working it into my vignettes? The chairs in the background were also purchased with the entry mirror. They were a nasty brown. My dining table is Benjamin Moore Soft Chinchilla Blue in a high gloss finish.
