Happy for Weekends!

There is nothing better than that 1st glass of wine after an insanely hard week. Sister Ex took more jobs than we usually do so we had to take it up a notch. We even staged into the late evening to try to get ahead. Good thing I remembered the Coronas. (Never mind that our subs were all vacationing with their children on midwinter break. And never mind that we had some of our kids in school and some on break. Never mind that the agents we were working for were in Disneyland and Cabo while we slaved away. And really never mind that I cut my weekend 1 day short to meet a deadline.)

Back to staging. I forgot to photograph the "after" in a mid century modern job that we staged using our new couch. Our pillows way rocked it.

And.... Guess what? We hit the ground running on Monday. Oh brother.

Seattle Design Center Sample Sale

We found some fun pieces at the sale:

I call this the Vegan couch. This was such a steal.

Can't tell in the photo but this is a fairly large canvas.

This is already at a staging job.
Isn't my sister cute? She is always bothered when I am taking photos of her. We got a great deal on rugs.

A tall console which may or may not work. We like to try new things in our staging so what the heck. The price was right. The sale is open to the public so I will give you all the heads up next time so you can do your own shopping. It is especially a good time to find a fab couch for a huge discount.

Wallpaper Panels

photo:lisa romerein

I turned to this look when I remodeled my sweet salon. I would have loved to paper the entire wall but simply couldn't afford to. These wallpaper panels are a perfect solution. Often you see the Chinoisere papered in the dining room or the bedroom and it turns out it is all paper created by hand. That's just too expensive.
